Fuck the No Fun League

So Brent Celek’s Captain Morgan pose did have a reason. Captain Morgan donated $10k to the Gridiron Greats fund. The fund that gives money to former and in need of a assistance NFL players.

Something the league refuses to do. The players are the ones that built this league, yet were barely paid (by today’s standards).

Good for Brent. He did it for those that came before him. Homeboy gets it.

Joselio Hanson’s of the Eagles has been suspended for violating the leagues ‘roid policy. Oh and Ellis Hobbs is done for the year.

Head Down is a Great Idea

This team is blowing my mind. And I have found the scapegoat.

Michael Vick.

He has messed up the chemistry of this team, big time. He needs to go. The experiment has failed.

I’m over this shit.

It’s cringe inducing things like this that make me hate to admit I’m a Philadelphia sports fan. Why is it that every time a camera turns on, these mouth breathers come running? It’s like a moth to a flame, I swear?!

Just for the record…at the :50 second mark, those are definitely Jet’s fans, I’m just sayin’.

Wow. So am I the only one who isn’t thrilled by the win tonight. The best thing I saw from Donovan was his post game screen test interview by the ESPN crew. All these little dinky 3-5 yard passes and screens are fine if they’re mixed in here and there, but I think I saw two long passes the whole game!  If it wasn’t for the 2 plays by DeSean Jackson things would have be a lot closer, and what’s up with him showboating at the end of that TD run…cmon dude, run into the friggin endzone and do your job.

I wanna kiss whoever signed Witherspoon, dude stepped up. Welcome to Philly, sorry Trot, don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Not sure if it was the D who showed up with the multiple Sacks, of if the Skins O-line was that bad…but loved seeing the ol’ Jim Johnson style pressure put on Campbell. Who do you think will show up next week to play agains the New York Giants?

For a hot minute I was going to try to come up with some “witty” bullshit like “SimpLEE Amazing” or “BeautifuLEE Executed”…but no. This dude doesn’t deserve such nonsense. He deserves much much more…maybe a street or two named after him, a baseball helmet filled with liquid gold, hell my wife shouted “I wanna have your baby’s Cliff!” in a fit a joy last night…so he’s got that going for him.

If this guy wanted to, he could walk around this town and score anything he wanted be it women or dangerously molten but expensive safety head gear. But Cliff uses his powers for good, that’s just the kinda dude he is.

It was great seeing the bats go to town on Hiroki “Head Trauma” Kuroda early and often, as well as dismantling LA’s so called untouchable bullpen. We touched them…yes we did, right where the bathing suit covers. I think I heard Honeycutt scream “I need an adult!?” at one point. (So that’s what he’s been doing post *M*A*S*H*?)

The craziest and most depressing joy of the night was the fact that the Phils scored  more than the iggles today. Wow. O-line anyone? I don’t care if you have a cyborg version of Tom Brady under center, if you can’t protect your QB you can’t win. Period.

Ok, time for work. GO PHILS! Two more to go baby. BEAT LA!!!

Well according to us, who read it on philly.com who found it on foxsports.com (which I can’t seem to find at the moment). Trotter is once again an iggle. The Axe-Man cometh back for a third time. Unfortunatley the link to the philly.com article is dead or I’d show you proof. Since i couldn’t find that, I snuck into the novacare complex and took this picture instead.

Apparently Jerry Jones ego needed more stroking than usual this season due to the sub par performance of his cowgirls these past few years. And how would he stroke himself you ask? Well by setting the record for attendance of course, and in doing so they oversold the season opener by 20 thousand tickets. This blockage of douches fans led to the inability for morons people to get to the can or even into the game. According to a fan who commented after the event, “My bladder was more stretched out then Jerry Jones’ friggin face!”*

Well that’s what you get for being a fan of the Cowboys. Karma? I think so.
