We Come to Crush

Everybody hits, woo hoo!

Remember that guy? I do. I loved that dude.

When the Phillies moved to the Bank, where did he go? I think he went to Arizona last night.

The Phil’s crushed the D-Backs. The best team in baseball.

But that’s the good news.

Jimmy Rollins was 4 -4 in a rehab start in Clearwater. That is the GREAT news!

I did want to take a second to point out what I will call the sweet and sour effect.

Sweet: Phillies fans giving Greg Maddux a standing ovation as he wlaked off the field last week. That is the class that people around the world just don’t choose to get. Eff ‘em.

Now the Sour: Douche bag fans that yell the obvious, “Shooot the puccck!!!” or “come on swing!” or arguing a call as if you are on the field, being Charlie Manual. I know of Charlie Manual, and sir, you are no Charlie Manual. Take a seat. oh, you’re going to fall down? Well, that works too.

I refuse to take my family to any Dollar Dog nights. The Phillies need to get rid of them all together. They tried to tone it down by changing the marketing from College Night (or as I like to call it, amature night) to dollar dog night.

Guess what? Same result.

My family really loves going to games. My 2 year old goes nuts! She was sad when we left the game on Sunday, asking for more “sticky ball”. No idea where she got that from by the way…

I’ll be damned if I will take her and my wife to a Dollar Dog game. Clean it up Phil’s. Do it for the kids!

amen. dollar dog night should be renamed, “hey idiots, come get drunk and make ass’ of yourself” night. i took my mom last year on mothers day to a game and it was a total embarrassment. baseball is the american pastime. its made for family’s and most of all kids. i shutter to think what the phils have up their sleeves to draw more people in.
-dollar beer night
-insult the outfielder night
-draw blood night

what happened to the milk chart poster night where all kids 13 and younger got a HUGE poster featuring a player (in my day it was Michael Jack Schmidt) and a growth chart next to it. all the promotions were for kids. grown ups do not deserve shit….
